What is The Web?

The Web is a fictional world set in America in 1964, made by yours truly. It's a play on the concept of sonder, allowing looks into the lives of those that one would normally just pass by on the street without a second thought. This is an ongoing project, and may never be finished. There are only so many hours that one can spend crouched over a laptop or a sketchbook.

What should I know before reading further?

I'm glad you asked! There are two main towns that most of the stories of The Web take place in; Briarstone and Vinemont. They are both in South Carolina. Briarstone is a small, coastal, fishing town, and Vinemont is a larger city, further inland. Some stories take place outside of these towns, but most do take place in these settings. The Web bends reality, allowing strange physical deformities, unexplained magic, and tangible concepts of religion. There are heavy topics (such as violence, substance abuse, and religion) tackled in some stories, and if you are sensitive to those things, I would advise proceeding with caution.
